CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia is the most important trade show for the ICT sector in the whole of Eurasia and forms an international hub for the burgeoning ICT markets of Turkey, southeast Europe and the Black Sea region.
Last year's CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia attracted more than 1,070 exhibitors and over 120,000 visitors from all over the world to Istanbul. A total of seven exhibition halls at the Tüyap exhibition site were completely booked out. Being No. 1 ICT fair in Eurasia, CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia was once again THE meeting point of ICT industry.
CeBIT Bilişim Eurasia 2011 (6 to 9 October) has successfully implemented its new format, comprising four distinct platforms: CeBIT Bilisim pro, life, gov and lab. The new format, which mirrors the structure of the ICT fair’s parent brand, CeBIT Hannover, proved to be a better fit for the TÜYAP exhibition center. It also improved the transparency of the fair’s exhibition areas, enabling exhibitors and visitors to make contact with the right partners more quickly and efficiently than in the past. The four-platform structure is a milestone in CeBIT Bilişim Eurasia’s ongoing development program.
Major highlights included the CeBIT Synergy Summit, a congress comprising 95 forums and seminars in which a total of 2,220 international delegates discussed the opportunities and challenges facing today’s IT society. The keynote themes included Secure Internet, Base Stations, and Cloud Computing Security. No less impressive was the World Hosting Day, an expert discussion panel in which CIOs and CEOs from large corporations shared ideas and insights on the digital world of tomorrow.
