CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia is the most important trade show for the ICT sector in the whole of Eurasia and forms an international hub for the burgeoning ICT markets of Turkey, southeast Europe and the Black Sea region.
Last year's CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia attracted more than 1,070 exhibitors and over 140,000 visitors from all over the world to Istanbul.
Being No. 1 ICT fair in Eurasia, CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia was once again THE meeting point of the ICT industry. The show traditionally has a very high media and government attendance. The past CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia hosted 10 Turkish political ministers.
Major highlights included the CeBIT Synergy Summit, a congress comprising 95 forums and seminars in which a total of 4,770 international delegates discussed the opportunities and challenges facing today’s IT society. The keynote themes included Secure Internet, Base Stations, and Cloud Computing Security.
With such special topics as “Smart Living Concepts” and “Life in Smart Municipalities” the fair demonstrated how technology can solve problems in fields ranging from communication, education and health to infrastructure, security and transport.
The next CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia will take place 24 – 27 October in Istanbul.
