The world's most important business IT event is entering the future with a completely new design. “We are improving CeBIT's core strength,” revealed Oliver Frese, CeBIT Director for the Deutsche Messe AG. “That means we are focusing 100 percent on business.”
CeBIT has increasingly evolved into a trade show for information and communication technology. The proportion of professional visitors has grown by 82 percent. The new CeBIT now offers you improved orientation. Four platforms have now become eight “topic clusters” representing all market trends: Enterprise Resource Planning & Data Analysis, Enterprise Content Management, Web & Mobile Solutions, IT Services, Security, Communication & Networks, Infrastructure & Data Centers and Research & Innovations.
This business orientation has a positive effect on the conference section which has been greatly expanded and is closely geared to the trade fair. Here, CeBIT Global Conferences (CGC) will play a major role. This prestigeous IT convention will be held in Hall 8 right in the middle of the event instead of at the Convention Center. Mobile, Trust & Security, Smart Cities, Industrial Internet, Cloud & Big Data, Game-changing Technologies and Social Business are the topics.
