Thomas Balgheim (44) has been Chairman of the Executive Board of Cirquent since the start of 2009. In close collaboration with his management team Thomas Balgheim is developing Cirquent - which is in the top ten of the Lünendonk List - into one of the key players in European consulting.
Before joining Cirquent, he was with SAP where he was responsible for business with financial service providers. In 2007, as Head of Global Line of Banking Business, he took over responsibility for the worldwide banking business of the Walldorf-based company. In this role Balgheim reported to the Co-CEO of SAP.
During his time with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Germany he had the position of Managing Director Financial Services. After PwC was taken over by IBM, he managed Business Consulting Services Banking and Insurance for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Balgheim acquired his first management experience in the areas of IT and organisation in a large bank. In 1989, he joined Coopers & Lybrand (subsequently PwC), where he became a partner in 1994.
