Hall 7

Exhibitors in the "AutoID/RFID" display category drew fresh optimism from being at CeBIT and left Hannover with a solid foundation for new business after six days with many high quality professional visitors.

In Hall 7 as the centre of AutoID-technologies, professional visitors and decision makers from all kind of branches searching for customized solutions found a broad overview of AutoID- and RFID-technologies. These are the core technologies for the Internet of Things and promise to create the necessary transparency for the cross-industry logistics chains of tomorrow.

More than 70 exhibitors displayed the innovative potential of AutoID- and RFID-technologies as an application in business and logistics processes, retailing/wholesaling, production, aviation, healthcare and transportation as well as product tracking. Hall 7 highlighted a key technology theme and featured numerous AutoID/RFID expert solutions that can contribute a decisive part out of the crisis. The branch's trends and novelties were displayed as well as numerous applications-oriented examples from the field.

In 2009, CeBIT again offered an outstanding platform on which companies could have a major impact on global trends in the industry. The range of topics at Hall 7 was expanded with the addition of the CeBIT Forum AutoID/RFID as well as the AutoID/RFID Solutions Park.
