In Hall 22, over 200 players from 25 different countries will be battling it out for glory in seven disciplines, making a bid for cash prizes worth USD 100,000 as well as qualification placement for the World Cyber Game finals.

The contestants will be vying for supremacy in the following disciplines:

  • auf der Xbox 360: Dead or Alive 4 (beat em up) und Project Gotham Racing 4 (racing)

Spectators can follow the action on a huge, on-stage screen, with commentators calling all the shots just like at a real sports tournament. The games will get off to a roaring start at a big opening event on Thursday at 4:30, and the awards ceremony will be on Sunday at 4 p.m.

But the action is not only reserved for pro players! The visiting public can also 'get the thrill' as they tour the entire Universe of Interactive Entertainment, checking out stands mounted by partners such as Samsung, AMD, Electronic Arts, Roccat or Speedlink.

There will also be a public gaming area, and thousands of prizes will be distributed to members of the visiting public who take part in brief audience-participation games. So if you're at CeBIT in March, be sure to head to Hall 22 and catch some of the excitement!
